What Members Thought
If I'd read Hugh Howey's Wool back when it was a self-published, little book that could, I think I might have enjoyed it more than I did. Or at least I wouldn't have entered into it expecting the "next great thing" in the publishing world.

This book was not at all how I thought it would be. I enjoyed a lot of it but felt it was quite a bit longer than necessary. I will go on to read the next books in the series but maybe in a bit.
The future of the human race has only been possible because a group of survivors have been able to build a life in an underground Silo. Over several generations a somewhat harmonious existence has been established with everyone performing their necessary roles. Cracks are beginning to appear in the social fabric of the silo.

This was a good series, I would give it four stars, but the language was too rough for my liking. It was a good story, with a plot that kept me reading. I really liked the ending of book 5.
