Really enjoyed this book, being from London (me old china) it really encapsulated the essence of living in the big smoke. The characters work well together and the concept of magic and the real world has obviously been done before (apples and pears), however, it has a neat twist on the usual genre. Please ignore any references to Harry PissingPotter these are far better than that dross. Take a pinch of Pratchett and add smidgen of Gaimen and you have a good omens vibe in the style. Readable, witty, uncomplicated and exciting. I half listened to the audio book and half read the book, but always heard the narrator's voice in my head. Looking forward to the next book in the series.
