A critica sociedade da época apresentada nesse livro ainda se vale a nossa época atual na qual muitos de nos se comportam como a personagem egoísta ou aquela personagem que quer se apresentar a sociedade como um bem feitor. Eu não consigo representar com palavras o quanto eu precisava dessa leitura para a vida, essa obra me fez refletir muito principalmente com o final apresentado (view spoiler)

This book is a masterpiece, it's beautifully written. I can't agree with the concepts though, but that's not why I gave it four stars. I Hate Dorian Gray and the capital H is not an accident. Or maybe I love him considering the many hours I spent obsessing over his character and hating him even more. Maybe I should notch the rating up...but no, I can't. I don't love this book. I'd rather not reread it. I don't care what psychological analyses you can make about this fact, but I cannot like Doria

It was weird. There were some really witty and interesting quotes that are definitely Oscar Wilde-ish but the overall story wasn't that interesting. I don't know, I just didn't get much from it, I guess. His slow descent into madness + paranoia was kind of interesting, though, and I liked the ending.
