Don't get discouraged by the quite generic trope of Jack the Ripper.
The characters are great, I love the forensics, and I'm quite fond of Wadsworth's "girly" characteristics alongside the feminist traits although they're sometimes a bit too on the nose. "I can like dresses and be a 'strong female lead'". Well yeah, but you could just buy pretty dresses like it's a thing people do, instead of telling me about it. ...more
