I'm not going to be able to say anything that hasn't already been said about Dune, but on my second read of this book, it still lives up to the hype in my opinion. As I'm older on this read, as well has having now read Dune Messiah, it's much more clear that Paul is a tragic figure instead of the hero to aspire to be that I think I originally felt when I first read the book.
