What Members Thought
I got "1984" as a gift in 1984, It was a special edition with "Animal Farm". I was 13. Animal Farm was mind blowing but it took until this year Feb 2023 to read it properly. It's a book of two halfs. A love story and then it changes into the dystopia we live in today or will be living in soon. Brilliantly written, a Modern Classic Giant among Giants of literature.
