Disclaimer: Before you dived into this duology, read the Grisha Trilogy first since there were little occurrences in this book that was you might not understand how it happened. This is in my opinion.

I couldn't possibly do this review with justice. I'm not good with words. I'm not good expressing myself and that never upsets me until this moment when I really need words to work. This is a story that I can't rave about enough.

I'd read every Leigh Bardugo's story about the Grishaverse and it was all masterpieces. As always, the writing in this book was fantastic, the best I'd read so far. It was well-thought. I liked how the little details matter in this intricate storyline. The turn of events were all amazing, it blew me away, though I kinda predicted how it will end.

Six of Crows was honestly unlike anything else I've read; gave intriguing premise and characters such as "A gambler, a convict, a wayward son, a lost Grisha, a Suli girl who had become a killer, a boy from the Barrel who had become something worse. But it still had a perfect build-up of tension, bit-by-intensifying-bit. And I'm genuinely moved by this story, I really am as it saved me greatly from book slump.

Kaz, the ever wonderful Kaz, amazed us how he whirred his brains out and how he randomly and thoroughly planned everything. He is now on the list of my book boyfriends. My Valentine's day was complete and happy because of him. Inej, the beautiful Suli girl, was a bombed. I expected her to had a strong will character. But I never anticipated her to be the heroine, to be honest. Nina, oh Nina, aside from being beautiful, she came unexpectedly strong. Mattias was unexpectedly sarcastic and witty. I least looked forward to anything from him but he proved us wrong. He's one of the strongest characters in this book. Jesper made me laugh with this constant witty banters. And Wylan, manifested that looks can be deceiving. I always thought that he was just someone innocent and wealthy but

Have you ever thought about Wylan and Jasper together? 'Cause I do. Crazy me, huh. Anyway, I just loved how romance was injected in this story. In a plot where you unexpected it the most, it just suddenly blossoms. This book gave me things I never hoped for, it's creeping me.

I read this book as a buddy read with Clare and Manon

I loved this book soooo much it made me feel so many things and I'm just heartbroken by this ending the characters were really good they were complexe and interesting and not really bad or good they were mistfits and I just loved reading about their journey
I was in the book I was with them the all time and I just jump into that world and it was so good !!!!
Inej and Nina are probably my fav characters i just love them they are exactly the kin ...more

This book took me SO LONG to read. I don’t fault the book for my inability to focus on this story, I started reading when I wasn’t in the mood. I loved the story, I loved the heist! I think the found family aspect wasn’t strong from the beginning but by the end of the story I fell in love with our clever band of criminals. I need to know where book 2 will go but I’m also not ready!

Unpopular Opinion: I liked Shadow & Bone more…
