Man hat überraschenderweise mehr Mitleid mit dem "Monster", als mit dem skrupellosen Wissenschaftler Victor Frankenstein. Klar, es ist mit Sicherheit nicht die feine Art Menschen aus Rache umzubringen, um die Zuwendung des eigenen Schöpfers zu erlangen. So gesehen schießt dieser stumme Schrei nach Liebe etwas über das Ziel hinaus.
