this is a dark series, hard to bear, possibly not good to read one after another in the series, particularly this one is hard .... but all the books are well written, rivetting right to the end. Also interesting is the way each book in the series connects to the next. It's a device that kept me reading.

This book is a good crime novel with all of the right ingredients: some deaths, several suspects, a flawed detective and a decent plot. I enjoyed reading it and it had enough surprise to keep me interested.
