Oscar Wilde never disappoints with his witticisms and creative characters. I found myself chuckling aloud as I read many of the lines. I especially enjoyed Lord Henry's outlook on life and found him to be entertaining to read about. His funny lines include:
"Never marry at all, Dorian. Men marry because they are tired; women, because they are curious: both are disappointed."

I have constantly been hearing about this book and thought I would take the time to read it. I pretty much knew the story before reading it. Hard to get into because I really didn't like Dorian. It is a classic and one that we should be paying more attention to because we have become more and more like Dorian as this book ages.

I went into this book with some preconceived ideas of the storyline. Only from the league of extraordinary gentlemen but enough that I though I new what the story was going to be.
I think many people know the basic story line so I will not repeat it here. I really enjoyed the basic plot of the story and it did provide surprises - don't expect a film were Dorain Grey plays a mall part to reflect what will happen in a book.
