For me there were way too many POVs and characters and there weren't any kind of recap in the beginning. Why?! Full review to come by next week. I did have minor moments with slight technical elements, but nothing derailed the fact that the novel just...fits so poetically as a wonderful ending to a really neat series.
I don't even know where to start with this review. First, I am in shock and depressed that this series is over. I have followed Aelin through the series over the last couple of months and this book felt different. I don't know if it's because this book feels like a totally different author wrote it (each book gets progressively better since throne of Glass), or if it's because it was the finale, but this book was different.
