Kingdom of Ash is a rollercoaster ride of all the emotions as the Throne of Glass series reaches its end. Every step of this long and painful journey has been to finally reach this point, and the novel delivers such a story of heartbreak, hope, determination, action, friendship, and love. It is an amazing conclusion to the series, if bittersweet in the way it always is when you say goodbye to a beloved story.

Why I feel like I am always the bad person and have unpopular opinions xD Well maybe I am then :D
For me there were way too many POVs and characters and there weren't any kind of recap in the beginning. Why?! I had liked this series this far but couldn't remember everyone and everything because I had read the second last book a year ago. I hated the beginning for that reason, it was really hard to get into this book. And maybe it tells something about characters: they couldn't have been that amaz ...more

I loved most things about this book. It was just longer than it needed to be.
Minus the repetition of certain sentences it was everything I could have asked for. It even managed to make my cry my eyes out.
There isn't a whole lot I can say. It was a good ride and I am sad to leave the world but it was time. ...more

So I can’t say I was overly impressed...the last book being superior. The first 2/3 suffered from poor pacing and was in dire need of editing. The last 1/3 was good....even produced a 5 star scene- THE THIRTEEN!!! But overall the book felt like it could have been something special but fell short. Erawan’s final defeat was a massive disappointment. Maybe the author tried too much? Overall I would call this a 3 but the Thirteen scene in the climax was spectacular.
