I would give it 3 1/2 stars if I could. Can't really say a lot about the plot without giving it away. Enjoyed the descriptive writing style, it plays like a movie in your head and I think the actual movie adaptation will work out very nicely if they stick to the story. Not as clever as it thinks it is but with all the hype it's bound to disappoint if you have very high expectations. Not bad if you enjoy crime novels or psychological thrillers. ...more

Shelves: psychological-thriller

Everyone was going on about this book and so naturally my curiosity got the better of me. Having read the rave reviews and the blurb on the back I was really looking forward to seeing what the author had to offer. It was a good read but I found the story line somewhat predictable. I worked out where the story was going to go early on in the book and finished it purely to find out how the author was going to go about concluding the story.
