In a word: Wow. Sarah J. Maas’s Queen of Shadows is truly epic, full of action, blinding plot twists, chaos, heart break, and characters I have come to adore. In terms of sequels, this is a great one. There isn’t much I wanted more or less of. Once again, I’m totally impressed by this complex story with its flawed heroes and epic plot line.

Strongest one yet. Felt like the series could have been wrapped up here with a few minor tweaks - it really felt like an ending.
3 stars? Still an addicting read, but I feel like a lot of things weren't needed and people got upset over things that weren't people's fault.

I wanted to DNF this book so00000 bad! What Maas did with the characters, Aelin, Rowan and Chaol was torture for me. WTF! I will concede that clearly my opinion is in the minority. I waited years to start reading Throne of Glass because I did not want to start reading it until all installments were completed and released! Do I continue to torture myself for another 2100 pages or just cheat and google a summary on each remaining book to determine the conclusion of the series? Of course as an avid

That was really good. I think that the middle was a little long, but that climax and ending was so wonderful. I can't wait to read more.
