I saw the BBC film with Richard Armitage and loved it. I got the ebook for free on my kindle when I first got it 3 years ago. So it's been on my tbr list forever. It's a good story and similar to Pride and Prejudice. This case being prejudices of social environments vs the North and South of England in the 19th century. Farm-life vs Mill Factories. “Wearily she went to bed, wearily she arose in four or five hours' time. But with the morning came hope, and a brighter view of things.”

I reread this as a buddy read with a good friend and it was lovely to discuss. It's been several years since I first read it and while I still don't know that I can call it a favorite, I appreciated it more this time around.
