Awww, this was a sweet story about an unlikely relationship between a woman and one very bright Octopus 🐙. It has a few side stories from various characters that eventually all center back to Tova, the main character.

I kept having this book come up on Libby and I kept telling it to deliver later, IDK why, I think I had a totally different idea of what the book was about. What? I'm not sure. I loved the unusual points of view this story is told from. There are three in total, one being the perspective of an octopus. This is a tender, albeit predictable, story of a 30 year old deadbeat trying to find his dad. Well, extort him. And the story of the family and life he finds instead.
But it is funny. It’s light. A little more drawn out then it needs to be. But enjoyable read.
