What Members Thought
If I could give this book negative stars I would. I believe it to be the worst book I have ever read. The story made no sense what so ever. The characters had nothing to them…the plot was undefined and confusing and there really was no point to the story. I have no idea why it popped up on recommended Halloween reading lists.
Added this to my TBR stack because I'm getting behind on my reading challenge and I am reading some shorter modern classics to help catch up. Didn't really know what I was getting into with this one, and it was a strange ride.

This has been on my list of books to read for a while, I went in not knowing exactly what to expect, and having read The Haunting of Hill House I think I was expecting more. It was a bizarre story that had a lot of disturbing parts to it, but in the end I think it just left me feeling a bit let down.
