What Members Thought
Oscar Wilde was great when it came to writing dialogue and his sense of the ridiculous was finely tuned making his plays gems and works of brilliance. However I was disappointed with the original prose version of The Picture of Dorian Gray when I read it in its original form. I guess I was expecting too much.

I loved this book - I read it for the first time when I was about 12 and thought it was great. Since then I have read it about 3 times and will continue to read it again and again and again. It is such a different take on a ghost story with typical Mr Wilde humour.
