Shelves: e-books, fiction-read-2024

Once again, (succumbing to either advertising or popular opinion), after this book kept popping up everywhere I decided to bite the bullet and download it. Cute cover....but still no expectations.
I nearly gave up on it until about half way through, having to take breaks to continue reading as the ongoing guilt, navel gazing, angst, and so many Twitter feeds to wade through (seriously, take everyone's advice June and just don't read them- but then I guess there wouldn't have been a story) really ...more

Great story but difficult to read because practically all characters were veryunlikeable. So much so that the process of reading about them was as emotionally exhausting as spending real time in their prescience would have been.
