Ho amato questo libro sin dalle prime pagine e durante le mie giornate non vedevo l'ora di poterne continuare la lettura.
La solitudine e la depressione sono le due protagoniste del romanzo, l'una e l'altra sono poco prese in considerazione dalle persone e proprio questo le rende così forti e micidiali. Entrano nella vita strisciando piano piano sino a che diventa quasi impossibile combatterle e vincere. When you're reading a book that is somewhat amusing in a tragic kind of way and suddenly you reach the point where you can't stop crying because it's all so damaged, and relate-able, and you're pleading for a happy ending because you don't know how to go on if Eleanor Oliphant isn't, after all is said and done, completely fine in the end. Hell of a debut book for Gail Honeyman.
