Thanks Elizabeth for suggesting this one! Just simply spectacular- I didn’t want to like this book as much as I did- the characters sometimes had very few redeeming qualities but strode through the life of rock stars with unparalleled tenacity and determination to be successful and make us see that music is their soul! This was a great audiobook with a full cast recording the incredible “interviews” of each person in the group. Made me think of rock groups of the 70’s and their atmospheric rises

Fantastic audiobook, from the narration to the editing to the final production. The story is really good too, but imo it would have been better without the unnecessary twist at the end. Also, the perfect storm of coincidences before the Chicago concert stretched what until then seemed like a very believable story.
I was afraid to read this because everyone seems to have such strong opinions on it, and I figured I'd fall on the side of hating it, but honestly it was just...thoroughly okay. I really don't have a strong opinion on it one way or the other.
