What Members Thought
A very interesting topic. Grann clearly did exhaustive research. I appreciated his use of different voices in each of his three volumes. In the end, a worthy read, but the style was just a tiny bit too spartan for me for 4 stars. (Me requesting adjectives is a rare event.)
This. Was. Fascinating. I studied history in college and never heard a word about this shameful chapter of American history. I found Grann's writing to be extremely well researched, yet accessible. Highly recommend.

This is not a story I had ever heard about before. Tragic and avoidable in the way these folks were treated. Looking forward to seeing the film at some point now that I've read the book.
