The story is narrated by Dr. James Sheppard who assists retired detective Hercule Poirot in his investigation of the murder of Roger Ackroyd.
In classic Agatha Christie style, the house is full of interesting suspects – each with a motive and opportunity, and each with a secret to hide. There are many plot twists along the way and there are red herrings all over the place. My goodness, I suspected everyone as the clues always pointed to someone different at the end of every chapter.

I really enjoyed this one. I didn't know I liked Agatha Christie until fairly recently and I enjoyed the twist on this one a lot.

Kept me guessing till the end. Had no idea who the murderer was
I enjoyed the story. I did guess the murderer but not the details of how it was done.
