What Members Thought
This is a re-read for me for book club, and I still love it. While the vernacular was rough, I liked the contrast it made to the narrator’s internal dialogue. There is a lot of drama, sorrow, reflection and heart, plus the ending is satisfying.
Two stars for the story, and one extra for the amazing audiobook reader. If I was reading this in print form, there's no way I would have made it through. I didn't love the story, and felt like it meandered around with no real purpose. I probably wouldn't recommend this one.
