What Members Thought
I vaguely remember portions of this book from high school. This time around, my level of enjoyment greatly surpassed my expectations. It's not a story about farm animals, but a satirical take on human beings. I read this one in one-sitting and was engrossed throughout its entirety. The ending was perfect, combining sorrow and amusement within a matter of pages. I had to read it in 9th grade for English class it was ok I really did not pay much attention to it. Talking animals taking over a farm and an extremely bossy pig just made no since to me what so ever. The movie was worse.
