Well, that was mildly depressing.

And now I totally get Nicole's username ("eckleburg's eyes) so that was pretty much worth it right there.

I think as someone who was raised around intensely materialistic people, I'm like meh. I don't need a story about how hallow the American dream is. I already know, trust me. (btw, if you're in the market for some old money vs. new money drama, I'd recommend the Gilmore Girls.) And I wasn't super impressed by Fitzgerald's writing. That seems to be what people s ...more
