I was thoroughly enjoying A Study In Scarlet, with it being my first Sherlock Holmes book to read and devour. I haven't been lucky enough to go into it blind, as everyone I believe has heard some version or other of Sherlock Holmes, even if it's Robert Downy HR, Benedict Cumberbatch or some other variation.
