This was the Read Women group read for April.
I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this. I had been afraid that it would be too chicklitty for my taste, but it wasn't at all. I did find all the people around the socially awkward Eleanor being so understanding and helpful a bit too good to be true, and personally I thought the ending was a bit disappointing (knocked off half a star for that).
But I came to love Eleanor and I was rooting for her all the way. ...more

I laughed, but mostly I felt bad for her. So sad what she had to go through ... and believe about herself in order to come out on the other side of it. Are there really people like Raymond? I'd be shocked to meet someone like that IRL.
