This was devastating but I truly loved it.

I hate when good novels end abruptly. Uggh.. I want to follow Mia and Pearl forever. I also want to see what happens with the Richardson kids. I want to see how they evolve and change. I could imagine all of these characters, plus many of the others, so vividly.
I also enjoyed how the author weaves past, present and future tense all today. It’s such an engrossing read.
I don’t think any of the novel felt “slow” to me. By a couple chapters in, I knew little bits of new information about every ...more

Great characters. A story of how choices we make in our lives, no matter how small they seem at the time, have more impact than we realise.
Thoroughly enjoyed the story but expected more from the ending .
