Celeste Ng has become an autobuy author for me. Her writing is absolutely stunning. This novel if filled with a multi-faceted plot and multi-layered characters. There are so many controversial topics addressed, but the plot never feels bogged down because the themes and each individual characters' stories were interwoven so well.

I've had this book in my TBR list for a long time, and finally got around to listening it on audio. Wow. Beautifully written, tightly plotted, characters who are vivid and sympathetic. I loved the story, and was impressed with the way Ng wound all the pieces of the story together. Well done.
