I was convinced I had read this before, but now I am not so sure. Maybe I just thought that because I remember the star-studded film by Sidney Lumet.
The structure of the book is unusual for Christie. It is divided into three parts, each with their own heading. The plot is ingenious of course, but I didn't like the writing very much and I found the ending very abrupt. (view spoiler) ...more

This was my first read for the 2018 Cloak & Dagger Readathon. Despite seeing three different film/tv adaptations, I still found this to be a very solid and entertaining read. I wasn't bored at all, even though I already knew "who dunnit".
If you get the chance, I highly recommend the audiobook read by David Suchet, who played Poirot in the tv series. He does an excellent job with the narration and the characters' voices (especially Mrs. Hubbard!) ...more
