Very difficult to follow. I did not care about characters. Did not care how it ended
I was enchanted by this book.
I know there are many critiques out there saying that this book was dull and long. Nevertheless, I found it to be captivating and beautifully written. I was sucked in by the descriptions of the circus and the complexity of the plot. The characters were dreamy and beautiful.

Tears welled in my eyes at the frustrating and nonsensical ending. This took a piece of my soul and crushed it. But I gave it a 2 because it held my attention right to the bitter end.

What a glorious visit to the circus! Remember this if you decide to read it: it is about the circus and not the 2 magicians. Just enjoy it like you would a documentary. ;-)
