'Perhaps a lunatic was simply a minority of one.

I re-read this novel recently and was stunned how much better it was than I had originally thought. I have amended my ranking appropriately. This is perhaps the most powerful of the dystopian novels and the one which is truly terrifying to read. It is a powerful book and an important warning not to allow ourselves to drift into the wrong future.
