This book is a fucking garbage fire of awful pandering references strung together like tortured links in a human centipede by some of the worst fucking prose I've ever suffered from a published author.

Actually, I rate this a 4.5, but there's no half star option.
Being a child of the time frame, I thoroughly enjoyed all the 80s pop culture references. Likeable and relatable characters, vivid descriptions of this amazing virtual world, homage to the movies and games of my childhood, and the adorkable romance all made this book a fun and fast read. My only complaint is that it wasn't enough; I want more. ...more
