What Members Thought

I actually thought I was going to hate this a lot more than I did. Not that I don't hate it, but I thought the plot was going to bore me to death which is why I waited so long to read it. I also thought the 80's nostalgia was going to be delivered in the most obnoxious way possible. And sometimes it is. First book I’ve read in a day since high school. I’ve read up on criticism on this book and I could jump on that train too. Art does not exist in a vacuum. But for me, I really needed an escape from the world, an uncomplicated story, and a quick read. This fit the bill. It was so entertaining, and from picking it up after the seeing the movie, this is wildly different and loads better. Really loved losing myself in this world.
