What Members Thought
I really enjoyed it! Was finally spurred into action on reading this, even though it'd been in my To Read shelf for forever, because of wanting to watch the new series on Prime. I ended up reading and watching simultaneously, which worked out fine, because as it turns out, the series is one of the best, most true-to-the-book adaptations I think I've ever seen of anything, ever. In fact, I think most of the script was just...the book, verbatim, read out loud, without any changes whatsoever. Super

I read this a while ago- long enough ago that I've forgotten most of the details, but recently enough that I remember it was entertaining. Also recently enough for me to be pretty excited that Amazon is making this into a series starring David Tennant, which seems basically perfect.

Listened to the audiobook, but it was hard to follow and my mind kept wandering. Martin Jarvis did a phenomenal job narrating, however.
This was such a struggle. It felt so disjointed and it was so boring despite so much happening.
