Un libro che racchiude differenti storie l'una dentro l'altra. Questo ci aiuta a capire meglio come si viveva in quel periodo (17..), cosa era normale e cosa no, ed ecco che due personaggi decidono di andare oltre, di superare i confini della conoscenza per spingersi più in là.
Il primo crea il mostro, la cosa, per poi diventarne vittima e carnefice nello stesso tempo. Il secondo invece ritorna su sui passi e getta la spugna, non sappiamo poi che ne sarà della sua vita.

The reason it has a 1 star rating because for one I just thought the book suckes some serous A**. I was forced to read it in school and that maybe part of the reason I don't like it...I don't like to be forced to do anything and when I'm forced to read a book I will immediately hate it...beside I never really read all of it but I had a friend on here tell what happened after I stopped reading it and it sounded stupid any ways so I'm glad I didn't waste my time reading the rest of it.
