What Members Thought
It has been an absolute emotional roller coaster read. Just want to highlight the relationship between Ove (Oo-vuh) and Parvaneh is beyond neighbor. Its father and daughter, Ove teaches her how to drive. He is with her whenever there is need. So do Parvaneh, she support Ove(Oo-vuh) in all possible ways. At one point Parvaneh's daughter starts calling Ove(Oo-vuh) as granddad. Its beautiful, nobody is stranger in this world.

This endearing gem of a book certainly surprised me.
I love absolutely *everything* about Parvaneh and the no nonsense way she handled every single one of Ove’s grumpy, stubborn attitudes. She was truly an angel in disguise for Ove and showed up just in the time when he needed her the most. He tried relentlessly throughout the entire book to resist her, her kids, the shabby cat that adopted him, and every other pesky neighbor of his. They all, b ...more

It was a sweet book, a little slow to start but a nice book.
