I went into this not knowing what to expect, I knew it was going to be a contemporary but was unsure of what other genres would be brought to the table. This was much different than I thought.

The characters are decent. Alice was fine, she seemed to be sincere most of the time. Sometimes she said some really odd things but other than that she was fine. Max, I liked him, he was the basic contemporary guy. I didn't

I went into this not knowing what to expect, I knew it was going to be a contemporary but was unsure of what other genres would be brought to the table. This was much different than I thought.

The characters are decent. Alice was fine, she seemed to be sincere most of the time. Sometimes she said some really odd things but other than that she was fine. Max, I liked him, he was the basic contemporary guy. I didn't like how he acted and you know - miscommunication between the two. Not to mention, that Max had a girlfriend when he was kissing Alice at one point. The girlfriend- Celeste was actually so nice, she wasn't the jealous girlfriend who is with Max for popularity reasons. Like she was actually a good hearted person so it was sad what Max did. (view spoiler) I liked Oliver, he is the basic cocky and entertaining male. The one who sits with the new girl, listens to her talk about her love life, but has a crush on her. You know it's that cliche. Sophie, was the cliche best friend. Calling her best friend's crush hot, and is supportive, and overprotective. Despite that I liked Sophie, especially that Alice and her had imaginary clones of one another when the other is not there.

The plot and premise was again not what I expected. I think that Max believed her a little to quick, and came to his senses to early. I did like that they are in the same psychology class. The dream doctor's were an interesting aspect. There were some things that I found unnecessary as well. Like this book was I think to short, if it had been longer, it could have been better. I feel like things moved maybe a bit to fast. Sometimes things also felt a bit jumpy.

I also found the ending to convenient and predictable. Like oh lets let him think about it but I think he is done with me. Oh wait... There he is and we live happily ever after. Despite all of my not so positive thoughts on the novel the writing was simplistic and nice. I did enjoy reading it most of the time and found it entertaining. This was more on the lighter side than I thought. Maybe if more of a mental illness or magically realism plot was done, it would have been more enjoyable for me.

This was a light and fluffy read. Not such a deep and meaningful one, but was definitely enjoyable.

This was so cute! When I heard about this book I knew I had to pick it up. And I'm so glad I did! The audiobook was great! The characters were really likable. This was also such a quick read, if I wasn't listening to this on audiobook I have no doubt I would have finished this in a day. But this wasn't anything amazing the characters had personalities but they were very generic. But liked them anyway.
