"The future is what I have to look toward-what we all have to look toward now."

Odium II is the second book in The Dead Saga Series. Nina, the most bad-ass heroine I have ever met, is back and ready for battle!

description
"People will do anything to protect the ones they love."
Odium II picks up right where Odium left us. Nina, Mikey, and Em are in trouble. Not only do they have to battle the zombies but their fate is in the hands of the Forgotten. As Nina tries to maintain the physical strength she

5 Twisted Stars

Genre: Dystopia/Horror/Zombie Apocalyptic
Type: Book 2 of The Dead Saga Series
POV: First Person - Multiple

This book opens up with the reality that Nina finds herself yet in a different type of hell, a new nightmare. She feels betrayed and yet she wants to keep going to protect the ones she cares for. Nina honestly is someone you can look out to because in her weakness she finds strength. She always ends up sacrificing herself to protect others. At the end of the last book, Nina is

Twisted. Breaking. And a Reveal that Punches you in the Face. FIVE, highly deserved, STARS

******

High Five, Claire! You’ve produced another example of why you’re one of my favorite authors and a rising star to watch. Speaking of stars- can you say 5 stars? If I could rate this book higher, you bet your sweet buttocks I would.

Readers fell in love with Nina’s snark and Doc Martens in ODIUM I. And it was gut-wrenching when the first book ended, leaving us with absolutely no idea what would happen to

Wow! That ending!

I've read a few zombie books, but Odium highlights some things that hadn't garnered my attention before and left me with plenty of questions. One survivor has a way of herding the undead by way of electric currents. Zombies don't have body functions so when they eat it has no place to go; thus, you get deaders with pieces of bodies inside them. The smells, the smells! How far are people willing to experiment in order to find a cure? What if it's not a

According to Bob Marley, whom Nina quotes, "You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have." And, boy, does that sentiment hold true, right from the beginning, where we find Nina being tortured uncontrollably by The Forgotten.

Though there are new characters to get to know, the deaders don't take a back seat at all. They are still a constant threat to everyone - including our beloved characters from Odium.

Woven throughout Nina's, Emily's, and Mikey's story is a c

If the first in The Dead Saga Series, Odium didn't have you by the throat, Odium II makes sure that you have no where to run. When you dive into odium II right away you're heart is breaking for Nina as you watch her being tortured mentally and physically. And where is Mikey, her knight in shining armor? I'll let you figure that one out!

There are many reasons why I believe that Odium II is better than the first, but one of the main reasons is, you are literally watching Clarie C Riley master her

Oh you got me again Ms. Riley. I was definitely not disappointed with this novel in the least. I was trying to slow down and savor this book, just read a little slower than my normal light speed pace, but no, I could not put it down. I had to force myself to let it last as long as I did. You have again delivered with a rockstar of a book.
As always, I do not like reading spoilers, so I do not put spoilers in the reviews. I will let you know this, if you have any problem with gore, graphic descri

Odium 2
The Dead Saga
Claire C. Riley continues the journey of Nina with such passion and detail. Nina is pushing herself mentally and physically. She is what every woman would want to be in a dead world. Her story grabs you and accelerates you into a world that is so real but yet so unreal. You get so immersed in the characters that you cannot put it down.
If I had 10 thumbs, they would all be up. The anxiety of having to wait for number 3 is going to be brutal.
This is a must read, even for the n

I love this series more than any series I have ever read. Really. Seriously. I love her strong female lead snark and all. The writing is very smart and thoughful. I was so devastated it was over I took to harassing the author for more.......yes I really did. So that should just tell you that this is a must read.
