What Members Thought
A chilling tale, the Portrait of Dorian Gray does a number on the question, "How does society view beautiful people?" I was at times, disgusted, enthralled, irritated, bored, annoyed, excited, but most of all fascinated by this story of a man whose bad deeds would never mar his beautiful exterior. It reminded me of modern day Hollywood, how all those stars never seem to age or show their true colors. The story reminds us how easily moral corruption can be hidden by a glossy surface.
