What Members Thought
Read this instead of Rebecca, and was a bit disappointed. Although the prose was lovely and du Maurier does a great job of drawing a reader into the setting, it was lacking in depth. The main character was shallow and her lover pirate flat. Everything wrapped up nicely, which was a bit boring.
Will read Rebecca when I get a chance, don't really recommend this other than for romance lovers. ...more
