So this book is aptly named, because I now have no heart left. This book has killed it!

So this is how I kept picturing Jest *drool*. Love Captain Hook haha

He was, of course, my favourite! I love him! He is funny, sweet and just down right gorgeous! The author has done an amazing job with the characters in this book, I felt like I knew them personally, possibly why I have ended up so heart broken.

Although, I had a problem with Cath. She is indecisive and just down right horrible sometimes. Also p

What an amazing retelling. I heard a lot of mixed things about this book before reading it so I was worried I wouldn't enjoy one of my most anticipated releases for 2016. But I was so wrong , I don't know why I was worried. Marissa Meyer is one of my favorite authors and I should have not expected a bad book from her. This was loads of fun. The audiobook is the best. I highly recommend the audiobook, the narrator is amazing.

Full Review on my blog!

I loved this one so much. Omg. Marissa Meyer has become one of my favourite authors and after reading this one, oh my! I'm excited to read more of her books.

I have to admit, I have never read Alice in Wonderland in its entirety. I've watched the movies, of course. The beginning of this book surprised me with its frothiness. There is a lot of baking in this book, and the beginning was the equivalent of a strawberry cream puff, it was so lighthearted that the gradual darkeni

I have been won over!

After reading all of the very mixed reviews of this book when it first came out, I put it aside thinking that I wouldn't enjoy it. But... OH MY GOD, I LOVED IT. I loved how it started off so whimsical but then slowly got darker and darker as the story went on. I loved seeing Cath grow and change as a character, finally twisting into the Queen of Hearts that we've all been so familiar with. Just a very well done origin story. Can we have some more please, Marissa? ...more

i hesitated to permanently dnf this book, but at this point, i'm 35% of the way through and not only has the plot not picked up but i also just don't feel interested or invested in the characters and from what i hear, these two issues don't resolve themselves. too bad, as i was hoping to love this one ...more

For most of this book I was leaning to 4 stars. By the time I was done I am going 4.5 if not 5 stars. I love the writing and how it pulls me into the world.

I love Marissa Meyers other series The Lunar Chronicles, so I highly anticipated this book. This book is a fun read, I really love the Alice in wonderland world and some parts of the story. I also really love her writing. I just didn’t cared for the romance. If you like ya romance book with fantasy elements, and you are interested in another story set in the Alice world I highly recommend this book. 4 stars

This book is brilliant. Magical, wonderful, and awfully brilliant. I love Alice in Wonderland, and the way Meyer dives into the character of the infamous Queen of Hearts is truly wonderful. It's a tale of expectances, a beautiful and forbidden love, heartbreak, adventure, and it will have you begging for more. I found it very difficult to put down from page one, but even more so after chapter four. Truly a 5 star read. ...more
