So when she and a wolf come to head over a deer she does what she must and kills it and takes the prize. Dragged over the wall to the land of faerie, she must serve out her days there for murdering and skinning a member of the fae. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah Maas

Just finished reading A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah Maas which I confess took me by surprise. I’ve not read any of her books before so didn’t know what to expect and I admit that the gorgeous cover and the thought of a story based around the Beauty and Beast tale intrigued me. I’m not going to deny that I had a few issues here and there but over all this book just drew me in – a great combination of delicious

Hello Readers,
This is the first Sarah J. Maas book I read and I already love her writing. This book is a retelling of The Beauty And The Beast, due to which it became quite predictable but the outstanding writing made it so very captivating and interesting that you won’t lose interest even once while reading . The character development and their description was superb. The protagonist, Feyre has been portrayed as a very strong woman who fought till the end for her love. While Tamlin, I think ha

i can't really tell if i liked this book or not. i'll settle for giving it three stars and being as neutral as i can be.

i like the idea of this book - i've been fascinated by fairies for a long time, and as an aspiring YA writer myself, i know that fairies make up the holy fantasy trinity along with vampires and werewolves, so i'm always a sucker for a good fairy story. was this a good fairy story? ehhh...maybe?

so, this book was kind of slow. it managed to keep me interested most of the time,

This was sooo good.. While this is a fairy tale retelling of Beauty and The Beast there are so many differences you don’t exactly expect what happens. The main female character is Feyre she is just a young lady trying to help her family survive. Feyre is the main provider for her family. Her father has lost his wealth and they rely on her to bring in food and money for the whole family. I have to say her family dynamic was crazy. The youngest siste

Hey Lizzy,

I've found yet another book you would've been obsessed with: A Court of Thorns and Roses, which is several kinds of awesome and two kinds of crushingly disappointing. Let me tell you about it.

Because I would recommend you read this, but its flaws are sig

It is the first book I read by Sarah J. Maas and boy, I was completely blown by it, specially by her writing style. I regret that I didn’t read her books earlier but now I can’t wait to read the Throne of Glass series.

This book was epic. I haven’t read anything that dealt with faeries and this book executed them perfectly. It is a retelling of one of my favourite fairytale Beauty and the Beast. Sarah J. Mass made this into something completely uniqu
