Oh guys, this book is too short !, I've been wanting for more.
It's definitely a great surprise to me that this book has liked me as much as it did, since I'm more a fan of fantasy than this kind of story, I thought it would be hard for me to get involved with the plot, but the truth is that It was incredible easy.

"Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe" should be required reading for all teens. At face value, it is a book about family, friendship, love, and the secrets we all carry within ourselves throughout our lives. All of these aspects of the book come together to create a deeply meaningful story that could bring lucidity to the lives of teens. If I had read this book when I was fifteen, I believe I could have come to understand myself far sooner.

This book was described as one of the best written books, mostly because it has a connection between the two characters. Even when is my book with more notes and quotes, here is my thought about it, as always, with all the respect and honest opinion:

-Plot/Development: The story tell us about two teenagers that try to hang out with each other, in order to solve some “mysteries”, mostly, try to find the questions about growing up and their behaviours.
The first thing is the fact that for 3.5 stars

This book was described as one of the best written books, mostly because it has a connection between the two characters. Even when is my book with more notes and quotes, here is my thought about it, as always, with all the respect and honest opinion:

-Plot/Development: The story tell us about two teenagers that try to hang out with each other, in order to solve some “mysteries”, mostly, try to find the questions about growing up and their behaviours.
The first thing is the fact that for me was a really fast reading, but my point was that I wanted to go to the ending (which was pointed to be good) but I believe that for some people, it can be slow at first. I might admit I got desperate sometimes, which mostly is good because that’s how a teenager should act, but honestly, I think certain facts are really out of place, since everything was as the wished and I consider it was very predictable.
I guess some would feel really connected, but in my case, everything was really “white” and beautiful to be truth. Of course there are certain events that are truly shocking, but most of the story is like a wish dream or related.

-Characters: I need to be very honest and I0m going to focus on the two main characters. First, Aristotle is supposedly the “unique and different” while Dante is “sweet and friendly”, but these are the key points:

*Dante is not sweet as my point of view, he wants to get everything he wants by using the dramatic act and pretend to be nice. He did secret bad things and his parents still believe that he is a good guy, but they never found out, so I really need to say that they make this look as normal, but not all of us believe is normal to hide secrets to your parents.
*Aristotle desperate me a lot, but is the kind of fact of teenagers. I truly believe the fact of this reason is because in repeated occasions, he says he is going to disappoint people and nobody should trust him. He has a perfect life and the only thing that matters for him is what’s in the past instead of the present or future, but, as I mention again, that’s the attitude of the teenager so I get it.

-Ending: Here is the main point. Many people said that the ending was the best point, but how did you never realize that predictable ending? Probably is kind of nice or sweet, but as my point of view, is not shocking. I was more interested in Aristotles past life rather than the main couple, so no, it was not even close to be shocking, because from the start, I came up with this idea.

-Genre: A YA book that is very well written and is good for those who are exploring the literature world. As LGBT+ book I believe is really cool, a different story of the “predictable” love stories, but again, it looks too predictable and sweet at moments.

-Writing: I loved the writing, it is really nice and I consider it is amazing from this author to do it as good as it was.

I think the best way to describe this book I quietly beautiful. I knew the entire time I was reading it that I enjoyed it; the story, the writing, the characters, the emotion, all of it. But I just finished it and while I was deciding what to rate it, all I could think of was how peaceful I felt while I read it.

So there you have it, this book is quietly beautiful and full of peace. Read it, embrace it, love it.

As a person who is part of the lgbt+ community and who also loves to read lgbt+ literature I always pay special attention to books within that "genre" (I don't really agree with calling lgbt a genre but it is so). Aristotle and Dante was a book that I saw get a lot of talk and a lot of hype and has been on my tbr since probably about 2014.

This book flew by for me, I just could not put it down. No matter what I had to do I just wanted to read this book. That is always a good sign for an amazing book! While it is supposed to be a book about two teenage boys and growing up. You seem to see more of one side than the other Ari’s side of things is more prominent. I just put down Aristotle & Dante after reading the last page and am I speechless. I have absolutely no clue how I haven't read this beautiful book before now. It's a book that's always been in the back of my radar, one I always meant to read but was never at the top of my list. Well, it should've been. Why did it take me so long?? Whatever the case, I've finally read it and I loved every minute of doing so.
