I loved this classic from when I first started reading it, it took me a few months to finish the book due to work. But everything from the book is fresh in my mind and I loved it. The characters are very well developed especially Frodo, Samwise, Aragorn, and Gandalf. Tolkien's first chapter in the Lord of the Rings trilogy, and the second chapter in the Middle-Earth series.
