I have no words to describe this book. This one is my most favorite from all three that are talking about the war of the Ring. I loved every part of it. Even the "boring" descriptions of nature. I once heard Alan Lee say that Tolkien's strength is in the description. He can give very precise details of the forest and still he gives enough space to the reader to imagine the forest himself.

The Lord of the Rings has always been on my to-be-read list but I never got around to picking it up.
