When Celia meets her high school crush, Ty Porter, during a weekend in Las Vegas, she never dreams it will turn into a romance—or a marriage. Her dreams come crashing down when Ty reveals he has a girlfriend, and Celia vows she’ll hate him forever.

Romantic tension and torment-my heart could hardly stand it! Ms. Wade does a dynamic job creating a flawed hero that I truly had a love/hate relationship with much like the heroine. The plot was unique in the relationship dynamic which added to the tension in a palpable way.

This book is easily one of my top 10 all-time favorite reads. The characters and their conflicts were unforgettable. Celia is one of the most unique and interesting female characters I've ever read. The situation she landed in just pulled at my heartstrings. And Ty is just as complex and definitely swoon-worthy. The chemistry between Ty and Celia is also one for the records. Be prepared to ignore the rest of the world around you, because this novel is an amazing pager-turner. ...more

I would've really appreciated reading about how Ty and Celia fell in love with each other's hearts and personalities, and not so much of their sexy bodies. ...more

The writing was great. The story was good. The characters were varied. But the main character, Ty, made it hard for me to finish. I couldn't stand him at that beginning, and found him barely tolerable by the end. But it's still a good book. ...more
