Andy Weir really loves science. HE JUST REALLY LOVES IT. His enthusiasm for it is what makes his books readable. I don't love science, and I barely understand what he's describing, but he's just so darn excited about it that I'm willing to go along. Without a doubt the best book I've read so far this year. Andy Weir blew me away with this one. I loved "The Martian" but thought "Artemis" was only okay, so was a bit hesitant to start this one, but oh wow! I was hooked from the very start, and listened to it at every chance I got. What a delightful book; with such a hopeful view of people and what they are capable of. A balm for the angry 2022 soul.
What I liked: humor; Rocky learning sarcasm; friendship, grudging collegial respect; geoengineering global warming.

I cannot stop recommending this book, another solid win by Andy Weir, and my favorite of his so far, hands down. I want to read it again right now just because I don’t want to let the characters go.
