Ware has penned an absolute masterpiece of mystery, with significantly believable characterization and a plot so thick and twisted even the most fastidious reader will feel surprise at the clandestine employment of detail. Yes, the protagonist was annoying. Yes, the supporting cast was annoying. But for a debut novel, this was pretty darn good. And absorbing. Even though I knew who did it halfway through, I continued to turn the pages as fast as I could until the last second.

A great summer beach read.

I’m just hate-reading these books at this point. The plot of this one is beyond beyond ridiculous.
